For example, when an incident took place last April in the Port of Bremen, Germany, the vessel caught fire while discharging cargo, the RMS Safety Service team was called by customer to act swiftly, filling and servicing the carbon dioxide system on board. The team also carried out communication and navigation repairs, as well as an FFE annual inspection of the whole ship, ensuring that all firefighting equipment on board was safe for the rest of its voyage.
